Severnica is a 6-piece melodic / symphonic metal band from Turku, Finland. Their debut EP Long Lost Longing (2014) is full of beautiful keyboard melodies which are accompanied by the high, clear vocals of Maarit. The heavy guitar riffs provide contrast and explore some darker themes while including some progressive beats and bass lines which complete the sound.

Long Lost Longing is the title track of Severnica's EP and it tells the tale of finding something you have long ago lost and forgotten.
